The Viet Nam – Singapore Tech Connect Forum attracted more than 400 delegates from government agencies, research institutes, universities, enterprises and investment funds of Viet Nam and Singapore.

The forum attracted more than 400 delegates from government agencies, research institutes, universities, enterprises and investment funds of the two countries, creating new opportunities for cooperation in technology, innovation and the digital economy.

The forum was jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Viet Nam, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. It aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in science, technology, innovation, industrial transformation and sustainable development.

Participants exchanged views on policies for science, technology and innovation development, while promoting stronger links among government agencies, research institutes, universities and businesses. They also discussed ways to advance research collaboration, technology transfer and joint project implementation between the two countries.

A key focus of the forum was the "triple-helix" model among the State, research and training institutions, and enterprises. The model is expected to help narrow the gap between research and product commercialisation, bring technologies into production and generate economic value.

The forum also featured investment, business and innovation networking activities, opening up new prospects for cooperation in artificial intelligence, deep technology, advanced manufacturing and the digital economy.
