The forum was jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Science and Technology of Viet Nam, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore. It aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in science, technology, innovation, industrial transformation and sustainable development.
