On the afternoon of May 19, 2026, on the sidelines of Asia Tech x Singapore 2026 (ATxSG 2026), Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Bui Hoang Phuong and a delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology held a working session with representatives of Enterprise Singapore, NUS Enterprise, and Action Community for Entrepreneurship (ACE).
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in developing digital technology enterprises and fostering innovation ecosystems.

At the session, the Ministry of Science and Technology proposed that Singapore promote cooperation in three key areas:
- Supporting Vietnamese digital technology enterprises in enhancing their capacity and expanding into international markets;
- Connecting Vietnamese digital technology enterprises with investment and funding sources;
- Promoting business-to-business cooperation and establishing a Viet Nam–Singapore Digital Technology Business Forum.
The working session helped strengthen links between the innovation ecosystems of Viet Nam and Singapore, while opening up new opportunities for digital technology enterprises from both countries to cooperate in emerging technologies, digital transformation, and the digital economy.

As part of the programme, the delegation from the Ministry of Science and Technology also exchanged views with leading Singaporean organisations supporting startups and innovation. Discussions touched upon Singapore's experience in developing its startup ecosystem, attracting technology investment, and helping innovation-driven enterprises reach international markets.
