Welcoming the KTC delegation, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh noted that Viet Nam currently has organizations conducting assessments in accordance with domestic and international standards and regulations. However, given the rapid pace of technological advancement, evaluating technology competence, level, technology readiness, and market readiness has become increasingly crucial alongside traditional conformity assessment methods.

Overview of the working session
According to Deputy Minister Hoang Minh, tech-developing enterprises need to determine the precise maturity level of their technology, its readiness status, its commercial viability, and whether necessary conditions for commercialization have been met. Failing to determine both technology readiness levels (TRL) and market readiness would hinder the application and commercialization of technology.
At the meeting, Mr. Moon Jae Do, Chairman of KTC, shared that in the Republic of Korea, the assessment of technology readiness and valuation is carried out by specialized organizations and councils comprising technology experts, financial specialists, and scientists. The assessment outcomes serve as a foundation for evaluating commercial prospects and assisting enterprises in accessing financial resources.

Concluding the working session, Deputy Minister Hoang Minh highly appreciated the insights, experience, and cooperation proposals from KTC, affirming that the Ministry of Science and Technology stands ready to facilitate favorable conditions for KTC and Korean businesses to expand their operations in Viet Nam.
The Deputy Minister expressed hope that both sides will maintain continuous dialogue and strengthen business-to-business links, thereby promoting cooperation, technology transfer, and commercialization between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea./.
