The Minister noted that as global supply chains continue to shift, Viet Nam needs to focus on several key priorities to seize emerging opportunities in the semiconductor sector.

These include improving mechanisms and policies for the development of the semiconductor industry; accelerating the training of high-quality human resources; strengthening research, design, technology development and innovation capacity; and promoting closer linkages among state management agencies, universities, research institutes and enterprises.

Viet Nam also needs to expand international cooperation, attract investment and gradually deepen its participation in the global semiconductor value chain, he said.
