Russian corporation proposes cooperation with Viet Nam in satellite technology, UAVs, and hydrogen
<p style="text-align: justify;">In the framework of the State visit to Russia, on the morning of September 9, 2026, in Moscow, Minister of Science and Technology Vu Hai Quan held a working session with Mr. Artem Ivanovich Zassoursky, AFK Sistema Group’s leader, to discuss opportunities for cooperation in science, technology, and human resource training.</p>

At the meeting, Mr. Artem Ivanovich Zassoursky presented several key strengths of the group and proposed collaborating with Viet Nam in satellite technology, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and hydrogen energy.
Minister Vu Hai Quan highly appreciated AFK Sistema’s proposals, noting that the suggested areas of cooperation align with the technology sectors Viet Nam is actively focusing on and seeking to develop.
The Minister highlighted that Viet Nam is currently promoting the development of strategic technologies while enhancing the participation of enterprises, research institutes, and universities. International cooperation should not only focus on investment and business, but must also be linked to research and technological development, as well as human resource training and capacity building.
Minister Vu Hai Quan expressed his wish that AFK Sistema would consider establishing a research center in Viet Nam in the future, thereby creating a long-term collaborative framework between the Russian enterprise and Vietnamese universities, research institutes, and partners.
Both sides agreed to maintain further exchanges to study specific avenues of cooperation and gradually incorporate suitable content into joint programs in the coming period. Representatives from AFK Sistema also expressed readiness to welcome delegations of Vietnamese experts, scientists, enterprises, and students to study, exchange experience, and advance cooperative programs./.
