From 2 to 5 Years: Periodic rotation of positions in the Science and Technology sector at the local level

<p style="text-align: justify;">From receiving and appraising science, technology and innovation tasks to managing high technologies, intellectual property, digital transformation, telecommunications and radio frequencies, a range of positions in the local science and technology sector are subject to periodic rotation, with a rotation period of between 2 and 5 years. This is stipulated in Circular No. 52/2026/TT-BKHCN dated August 28, 2026, issued by the Ministry of Science and Technology, which provides the list of positions subject to periodic rotation and the applicable rotation periods in agencies, organizations and units in the science and technology sector under local governments.</p>
